Manteigaria Fábrica de Pastéis de Nata
One of the absolute must-try treats in Portugal is the Pastel de Nata, the country’s famous custard tart. Fresh out of the oven, these pastries are a perfect balance of textures and flavors. The flaky, crispy crust shatters with every bite, giving way to a rich, creamy custard filling with just the right amount of sweetness. Eating them warm is the best way to experience their full deliciousness. The contrast between the crispy layers and the smooth caramelized custard makes each bite delicious. Whether enjoyed with a cup of coffee at a café or picked up from a local bakery, they are the perfect indulgence while exploring Portugal.

Portugal is home to some of the most stunning historical landmarks, with its churches standing as breathtaking symbols of the country’s rich heritage. From intricate Manueline architecture to grand Gothic cathedrals, each church tells a story of Portugal’s past, deeply connected to its maritime discoveries and religious traditions. Many feature ornate interiors adorned with azulejo tiles, gilded altars, and towering vaulted ceilings. The Jerónimos Monastery in Lisbon reflects Portugal’s Age of Exploration, while the Clérigos Tower in Porto offers sweeping city views from its bell tower. The São Roque Church, though unassuming from the outside, holds one of Europe’s most lavishly decorated chapels. Whether admiring the detailed craftsmanship or soaking in the peaceful atmosphere, these landmarks are a must-see for anyone exploring Portugal.
