My trip to London is one of those cities that effortlessly blends history, royalty, and charm all in one. From walking through the grand avenues leading up to Buckingham Palace, to standing near the iconic Elizabeth Tower and Big Ben, every moment in the city feels like stepping into a chapter in history. The atmosphere is lively, especially around Westminster, where you can look at the beautiful architecture and feel the atmosphere of British tradition. St. James's Park offered a peaceful escape right in the middle of the city, with stunning green views and calm waters which led to a perfect relaxing stroll. The streets were buzzing with both tourists and locals, and despite the crowds, there was a sense of calmness in all the surroundings. Of course, we had to try the classic fish and chips, but it wasn't the real experience since it was from a hotel but it was still good to try. The dish was served with thick-cut chips and a side of tartar sauce which probably was the highlight of the dish. The dish felt comforting but not really authentic because it was from a hotel. Overall everything was great, whether you're taking in the grand sights or grabbing a bite in a cozy spot, London knows how to leave a impression. I would recommend coming here if it's not out of your way of traveling just for a day or two.
