Dumpling Soup w/noodles

While exploring Seoul, we were also seeking something comforting and authentic. I tried a soup with dumplings and chewy noodles in a flavorful broth topped with seaweed. Though the dish seemed simple, it had a surprisingly rich and complex taste. The dumplings were perfectly made, with a delicate wrapper and a savory filling that complemented the broth beautifully. It was a delicious and satisfying meal that truly showcased the warmth of Korean cuisine.

N Seoul Tower

This was my first time in South Korea, and Seoul really amazed me. From a high viewpoint, I could see the city sprawling in front of me, a fascinating mix of tall modern buildings and traditional areas, all surrounded by green mountains. The cloudy blue sky added to the dramatic view. I was surprised by the amount of greenery in Seoul, even though it is a big city. The twisty roads below showed how many hills there are in the city, and my legs definitely felt the climb after a day of exploring!

Korean Shaved Ice Dessert

We had these shaved ice desserts, which were both photogenic and delicious. The first one I had was topped with chocolate and almonds along with various crumbles and syrups, a delightful mix of tastes and textures. Later, I tried a mango shaved ice with fresh fruit and whipped cream, perfect for cooling down after walking in the summer heat. They were served in clear bowls that displayed all the beautiful layers, and now I understand why Korean dessert cafés are popular!
