Rome – The Colosseum & Trevi Fountain
Walking into the Colosseum for the first time genuinely gave me goosebumps. The sheer size and history of the structure are overwhelming — it’s wild to imagine gladiators battling here centuries ago. I stood in the center and just tried to soak in the atmosphere; it felt like stepping into a movie. Later that day, I visited the Trevi Fountain, and although it was busy, it had this magical charm that’s hard to describe. I tossed a coin in (because of course I did) and made a wish. The intricate marble sculptures and the sound of rushing water were oddly calming. Rome has this incredible way of making you feel connected to the past and present all at once. Every corner is a story waiting to be discovered.
